​It wasn't just reaching the final of this tournament that mattered. It was the whole journey. Each time we progressed we were predicted to fail, yet at each hurdle we dug deep into ourselves, both on the pitch and on the terraces, to push our side forward.
We made so many friends on the way to the final and the memories will last forever, and the sporting reputation of the club was restored in the eyes of the international footballing community after a long time in the wilderness.
The experience was simply a joy and an honour for all fortunate to have been a part of it.

'Faithful Through & Through' tells the story of a true Celtic legend - Tommy Burns. Tommy's life was cut short at the age of 51 and this film charts the story from humble beginnings in the Calton in Glasgow through a remarkable career in football and goes back to the Calton for a funeral that brought the city to a standstill in May 2008.The main DVD features the thoughts and tributes of Tommy Burns' family, his friends and those who worked for him and those who he worked for. There are anecdotes and interviews from around 40 people in Tommy's life as well as rare footage of Tommy in the three main aspects of his life - Family, Faith & Football.In more than 500 appearances for Celtic, Tommy epitomised all that was good about this football club and his story in that regard is both gripping and unique.
